Watch Battery Buyers' staff have been unable to find any legal business in North Carolina registered under the name Fifth Element Refiners or 5th Element Refiners, nor any legal business registered to Fifth Element Refiner's address, nor any legal business under any name registered to the owner.

WARNING! We have received numerous complaints about Florida-based company JF & Associates International, Inc. Dozens of people have been ripped off by this company.


There is a lot fraud in the watch battery recycling industry. Watch Battery Buyers encourages you to check the background of any watch battery recycling or gold-plated gold-filled watch band recycling company before you ship materials. Watch for these warning indicators:

  • company's website does not give an LLC or Inc. name
  • company's website does not list a mailing address
  • company is not a member of important industry organizations (AWCI, NAWCC etc)
  • company is offering substantially more than everyone else
